At Artchemira, every order is prepared and shipped with care, clarity, and full transparency. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order, as it contains important information about your shipment, tracking options, and coverage.

1. Shipping Overview

All orders are dispatched from Switzerland via Swiss Post and its international carrier partners. Orders are carefully packaged to protect your products during transit.

Free shipping is available for orders above CHF 99 within Switzerland only. Free shipping is not currently available for EU or international orders.

Delivery estimates are provided by Swiss Post and their partners and may vary. Delays can occur during peak periods, Swiss public holidays, or due to customs inspections outside Switzerland. Artchemira is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or local postal networks once your order has been dispatched.

3. Tracking Options

Your available shipping options will be displayed at checkout based on your order's weight, dimensions, and delivery destination. Please review them carefully before completing your purchase.

Economy Mail — untracked, uninsured

This is the most affordable option, available for flat and lightweight items (max 500g). It is dispatched via standard letter mail with no tracking number and no insurance coverage.

Important notice: Once an Economy Mail shipment has been dispatched, Artchemira has no ability to locate, trace, or recover it. In the event of loss or damage, Swiss Post bears sole responsibility as the carrier. Artchemira cannot file a claim, issue a refund, or reship at no charge for untracked, uninsured shipments. By selecting this option at checkout, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

Economy Mail Registered — tracked & insured

Available for flat and lightweight items (max 500g). Includes a tracking number and basic insurance coverage. A reliable and cost-effective upgrade for lightweight orders.

Standard Tracked Shipping — fully tracked & insured

Available for all product types and sizes. Provides full traceability and comprehensive insurance coverage throughout the journey. Recommended for journals, bundles, and higher-value orders.

Our recommendation: While we work exclusively with Swiss Post — one of the most reliable postal networks in the world — we strongly recommend selecting a tracked and insured option for complete peace of mind, especially for international orders.
Automatic upgrade: Large or heavier orders may be automatically upgraded to Standard Tracked Shipping at checkout.

4. International Shipping (EU & Worldwide)

Customs, taxes & import fees

Shipments to destinations outside Switzerland may be subject to customs duties, VAT, and import fees upon arrival. These charges are determined by your country's customs authority and are the sole responsibility of the customer. They are non-refundable.

Shipping restrictions

Certain materials (such as inks or liquids) may be subject to international shipping restrictions. If an item cannot be shipped to your country, you will be notified before dispatch and offered a suitable solution.

Return to sender

If a parcel is returned to Artchemira due to unpaid customs fees, refused delivery, or an incorrect address provided at checkout, the cost of reshipping will be borne by the customer. Artchemira is not responsible for shipments returned under these circumstances.

Incorrect address

Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate at checkout. Artchemira is not responsible for delays, returns, or losses resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
